This handsome guy is Dodge, and he is super lovable. Dodge arrived today along with 7 other dogs. He’s a big guy, but very easygoing. Dodge came to us direct from Animal Control in West Virginia, so we’re still getting to know him. What we do know is that he peed outside 👏🏻, did pretty well with a very extensive bath 🛁, and he seems to have no idea what a leash is all about🤔. We’ll continue to work with him on his leash skills and basic commands until we find him the perfect home. It’s puppy time! Meet handsome Hank, a 5 month old Beagle mix puppy who is quite shy at first but has so much love to give once he’s opened up. Although we haven’t had him long, Hank is doing very well with his kitty foster friend but seems a little unsure of other dogs, so a meet & greet is needed. He’s learning all about the good things in life like cuddles, doing tricks for treats, playtime and long walks around the neighborhood. He's a quick learner and is doing really well with potty training, and he’s still working on not jumping for attention, so a home with older kids (8+) will be best. His favorite thing so far is laying in his foster mom’s lap and getting some nice ear rubs; it puts this sweetheart right to sleep! Due to his endless amount of love to give and continuous work on potty training, he will do best with someone who is home all or most of the day.
