00530 | 7 years | Female | Posey came to us a couple months ago with her litter of puppies and her Mom. You can tell that Posey hasn’t had a good life prior to coming to BTHAR. Her coat is dull, her eyes are sad and the pads on her feet are worn, but this girl loves with her whole heart. She loves her foster Mom, Candice Witkowsky Bentz so much. She watches every move she makes. Posey is between 7-9 years old, about 40 pounds and searching for someone to love. She would do great with someone who is home most of the time as she gets attached easily. She would love a farm or a big yard where she can bask in the sun, a porch to welcome visitors and an occasional car ride in the country. Posey would do great with other dogs and did good with kids at the adoption event. We are unsure of cats as the foster does not have any. His owner is a frequent “dumper” who buys expensive dogs from breeders and then gives them up after a couple years. Big bear is now in a foster home learning manners. He is house trained and crate trained. Loves the cat in the foster home. He is very friendly and loving.
