This 4-5 year old owner-release Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler mix is quite an amazing dog whose life prior to coming to our shelter consisted of watching life pass him by while chained to a box outside. That's all about to change for MIDNIGHT since we are committed to finding all of the animals in our care the very best of homes. Nite is wishing for a family that will take him on regular walks and adventurous outings to enjoy life as it should be spent together. He has an absolutely amazing smile.....but wait, you can see if for yourself in his pictures! He would do well with other dogs, and would be fine as your only dog. He is active, and will be able to keep up with just about anything like walks, hikes, or just strolls around the neighborhood. He is always up for a game of chase, tug, or playing BALL since our boy LOVES BALLS ! He can fetch like a dream, and will bring the ball back to you and drop it right at your feet for more playtime. Despite his unhappy and lonely life in the past, Nite just seems to know how to enjoy life and would love to enjoy it with your family. Want to meet Nite? One thing is for certain....she's as sweet on the inside as she is lovely to look at. At 15 mos. in age, VENUS is all fun and frolic, and since she has a great energy level, she will need an active family to give her lots of playtime and affection. VENUS would enjoy a family that will take her for walks, hikes, or running errands so she can join in the fun ! She has a sassy little walk that will make you sit up and take notice the minute you see her. She greets everyone like she has known them for years, and soaks up all of the attention she can get. She loves to play and is confident enough to do well as the queen canine in your home, but would not mind at all if she had a canine sibling to pal around with. Johnny had no hair from his shoulders back, his eyes were mucky from infection and his heart was sad. Johnny has now been with us for a couple weeks and is ready to find that forever home. His hair is growing back, his eyes now sparkle and his heart is happy. He is very easy going with a low energy level. He wakes up at 7:30 every morning ready to start his day. His day consists of laying on the deck, eating breakfast, snoozing on the deck then eating lunch....well you get the picture. Nothing makes him more happy than watching the birds fly from one bird feeder to the next. If you have a porch and a heart with enough room for Johnny, why don't you fill out that application? She still has lots of puppy energy and is going to need someone to continue training. Victory has been doing well with the other dogs in her foster home and the kids. Older kids would be best for her until she learns not to be quite so jumpy. Victory would love a big yard to run in and explore.
