There’s a new guy in town, and his name is Heinz. Heinz is a 3 month old Pittie mix with the dreamiest eyes. If Heinz was human, he would be the good looking football player that all the cheerleaders liked. He would also be the kid who cheats in class as he’s not the brightest bulb on the tree. Heinz's favorite rapper is Ice Cube. He also loves to eat ice cubes from the freezer. We were told that Heinz chased the cat in the last home, but has done good with the cat in the foster home. He would do best with a dog-savy cat. Heinz has lots of energy and would do great with an active dog. Want to meet Heinz? Vanessa is the new lady in town. She arrived last week with her puppies(will be posted this evening). Vanessa is about 1 1/2 years old and is a Boxer mix? We were told that Vanessa was dumped at a home in Tennessee at a young age with a sibling. Over the last year, they both had a couple of litters of puppies. Vanessa is now done with her puppies and ready to find a home of her own. Vanessa is house and crate trained. She does great with other dogs(cats unknown). Vanessa is laid back and still learning what life is about. She is learning to walk on a leash and loves all the attention she is getting in her foster home. Want to meet Vanessa? Elizabeth came to us with a litter of puppies known as they "royals". Elizabeth is almost done being a Mom, and when the puppies are ready to leave she will be too. Elizabeth is two years old and 20 pounds. She is a mix of maybe Beagle, Min Pin and/or Jack Russell. Elizabeth is a very loving girl who has not had an easy life and appreciates the simple things such as a full food bowl and a soft blanket. Elizabeth is house trained and gentle and does great with cats and other dogs. She loves to sniff around the backyard in her foster home and would enjoy a fenced-in yard though not necessary. Elizabeth is quiet and has not yet barked since her arrival with us four days ago. Elizabeth would make a great companion for a retired couple who will give her the life she deserves.
