Don’t let that age fool you though. This is one Sassy Senior. If she were a human she would be planning Red Hat Society brunches, playing Bingo every night, betting on the slots at the Casino and drinking Cosmos on Singles Cruises. She doesn’t hear as well as she once did and her eyes are cloudy but she believes age is just a number and could give those young pups a run for their money. Paige would do best in a quiet home. She couldn’t care less what any other dogs or cats think of her so a home with or without both would be fine. She appears to be house trained and is always busy exploring the house or yard in between naps. A home without small kids is probably best. Someone with cocker spaniel experience and a fenced in yard would be perfect! Her puppies were found as strays and a few days later she was surrendered due to neglect. She had a terrible case of mastitis that the owner was not taking care of. Thankful for the shelter who stepped up and bottle fed the puppies(puppies will be available soon). Baby Girl is ten pounds and has lots of energy. She loves playing fetch and squeaky toys. She is crate trained and seems to be almost fully house trained. She would do great with another young energetic dog that matches her activity level. He has been checked out by the vet, and it is determined that he has an old injury that caused him pain. He has since healed, but it has left him walking a little slow and wobbly. This in no way effects his happiness, and he surely is on track to have a full and amazing life. Stoney’s most favorite thing to do is holding toys in his mouth and doing a happy dance. Stoney loves his people with all his heart and always greets you with a wagging tail while rolling on his back for a belly rub. This little guy that lived on the street now enjoys being pampered. He loves baths and being brushed. Stoney is ready to move on and find that perfect family. He is a three year old Border Collie/Corgi mix. We are looking for a patient and caring family for this guy. Stoney would do best in a calm and quiet home where he can relax and be the center of someone’s world. In order for Stoney to feel the best he can, he needs daily exercise to keep his bad leg moving. This will also help build his muscles strong!!. He enjoys swimming so he hopes he can do that with his new family. Stoney would do best in a home with no children or cats. He recently arrived at our new foster parents house this week and we are excited to learn about him to find Oliver the perfect human companion. A few things we've learned about Oliver include he is a very energetic dog and will enjoy a companion that is active and likes the outdoors as much as he does. Oliver needs a companion that will help him with basic obedience training as he hasn't had too much structure in his life. Oliver is very intelligent and picks up on easy commands such as sit, lay down, and give paw but he loves attention and will be vocal to let you know. He does well on car rides, he's done excellent with house training and currently sleeps well at night with proper exercise. Since Oliver hasnt experienced much socialization, we strongly encourage him to go home to a pet free house.
