01288 | 3.5 years | Female | They don’t get much cuter or sweeter than Mackey, or Mack Mack as her friends call her. Mack Mack is a 3.5 year old Shorkie (Shih Tzu and Yorkie Mix). She’s the perfect little purse pup. She would love to be dressed up in cute little outfits and carried around in a big purse like Paris Hilton’s dogs, anyone remember her? Mack Mack is low energy and loves nothing more than snuggling up in her big fluffy bed or on the couch with her people.
Here’s a few things to know before you apply.
She’s Pee Pad trained. This means instead of going outside to potty she uses a pee pad instead. She’s well trained but if you have expensive throw rugs that you don’t want ruined this dog is not the right fit because sometimes she can’t tell the difference in a pee pad and a fancy small rug.
She prefers to be the alpha dog so another dog in the home would have to be submissive. She is curious about cats but doesn’t bother them so a cat friendly home should be fine.
Mack Mack was bullied by the young grandchildren in her prior home so if you have children younger than 10 who live in or visit your home please do not apply. She deserves to be a spoiled princess and the center of someone’s world. 01287 | 3 years | Male | Chewie is a three year old Malti-poo who arrived last week. We have been getting to know Chewie and figuring out what kind of home would be best for him. Chewie loves toys!!! Like REALLy loves toys. Any kind of toys...big toys or small toys, rubber or plush. You never see him without his head in the toy box, dragging a toy around or chasing a ball. He would love someone who will play fetch with him. Chewie enjoys car rides and rides well in the car. He would love shopping trips to TJMaxx or anywhere else that he can tag along with his people. His former owner said he was house trained at one time but was having accidents recently. He does have accidents but is getting better with routine trips outside. Chewie lived with children but they stressed him out so we are searching for an adult only home for him. Chewie is no couch potato. He does love to sit on your lap in the evening but this guy is happiest on the go. Chewy does good with other dogs but has no interest in being with other k9s as he would rather hang with his people. Ferris is about 70lbs but don’t let his size fool you! He’s just one big cuddle bug who loves just about everyone he meets! Ferris loves car rides, walks & just being around his people!
Ferris would do best in a home where he’s the only dog so he can receive 100% of the love & attention he so desperately deserves!! He is house & crate trained.
