Bailey is not a high energy dog - she is very content with a stroll around the neighborhood followed by a soft bed and a good bone to chew. She is fully grown at about 35 pounds - just the right size for hugs and loves to get them! She does chase our cats and makes sad eyes at us during mealtimes, but nobody’s perfect. And although she is polite and interested in other dogs, she is a little shy, so may not make the best playmate for an active doggy sibling. Darcy is enjoying her time in the foster home but is hoping that she will soon have a furever home full of love and snuggles. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves to be in your lap or laying against you. She is shy and timid at first with new people, but warms up quickly and is ready to play. Darcy is house trained and will go to the door or be vocal with squeals to let you know she needs to go potty. She loves to spend time outside and would lay out there all day. She does great in her crate overnight and occasionally hangs out in there during the day when she just needs a little rest. She loves playing with her K9 foster brother that is in the home and gets along great with him, we are unsure about cats though. Darcy's ideal home would be with an active family, a yard to run in, and hopefully a K9 sibling to play with. Frida Pawhlo is a 1 year old 37 pound cattle dog/jack russell terrier mix who has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Frida is almost completely deaf but she is doing great with basic sign language commands! Frida is crate trained (sleeps all night in the crate without a peep), 90% house trained, and good with dogs with a proper introduction. (Cats are unknown). She enjoys playing with her dog friends, cuddling with her humans, chewing bones, and playing with toys. She is the cutest when she throws her toys to herself!
When she trusts you, her favorite thing is to put her paws on your shoulders and give kisses.
