Pigpen is an 8 month old American Bulldog mix. If you haven't followed his story he is somewhat of a celebrity at BTHAR. He was born with a heart deformity which caused a blockage of blood flow. He has since had a surgery with removal of the blockage and a stent put in place. It is thought by his doctors that he will have a normal and long life. He will require of his adopter a 5 month follow-up appointment and yearly check-ups for a few years to make sure all is still well.
Pigpen is house trained and crate trained. He also knows how to sit and down for treats and has been working on stay and come. He has a very mild temperament for his age and is always happy.
